Senior Process Engineer

DATS have an excellent opportunity to join the existing team of a large oil & gas company working on design and construction projects in Runcorn on a contract basis.

Process engineering of small modifications, field development and projects for offshore and onshore facilities.

Duties
Ensures that all process responsibilities are complied with for small engineering projects in accordance with established procedures from inception and budget estimating through to completion

Background & Experience
* Degree in relevant engineering discipline
* Min 8 years experience which should include offshore oil and gas projects for at least 4 years or
* Min 6 years experience which should include offshore oil and gas projects for 2 years and onshore oil & gas processing / petrochemical projects for 4 years
* Microsoft Office
* Hysys
* Other process simulation software such as RPESIM, FLARESIM etc
* Manages and plans own workloads
* Ability to analyse and problem solve
* Able to conduct technical and economic studies in selection of optimum process
* Thorough understanding of offshore codes of practice, regulations and standards
* Needs to be aware of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. CDM within design would be advantageous.
* Lean engineering would be an advantage
* Good communicator, needs to work with others within a small team
* Must be flexible and pro-active in approach to work within a small team
