Senior Process Engineer

Immediate 6+ month contract opportunity in San Jose, CA for a Senior Process Engineer with expertise in medical device. The right candidate will work cross-functionally to lead process development of complex technologies on new products and ensures efficient and effective transfer of product into production. BS in Engineering/Technical field; 5+ years experience. This is a great assignment in very convenient location of San Jose!

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on platform or derivative projects
- Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation
- Executes the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems
- Writes and reviews validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes
- Trains and/or provides work direction to technicians and engineers and may train manufacturing personnel when required as part of a validation

REQUIREMENTS

- BS in Engineering/Technical field; 5+ years experience
- Must have experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
- Experience with developing test methods and performing test method validation
- Experience developing process parameters for new equipment and be able to write protocols and reports for Operational Qualification and Process and Product Performance Qualification
