Senior Process Engineer

An EPC Firm in the St. Louis area is searching for a Sr. Process Engineer with 5-10+ years of Refinery, Chemical Process and/or Chemical Manufacturing experience. Open to contract, temp-to-perm and direct hire candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in defining scope of Process Engineering for Project by listing inclusion, exclusion, client obligation & assumptions made if any.
- Answer customer queries in timely manner.
- Generation, checking & approval of Process Engineering related documents & drawings like - Process Section of Proposal, Basic Engineering Package, Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, Material & Thermal Balances, Hydraulic Study, etc.
- Development of Drawings for Proposal. Archiving documents for future reference.
- Preparation of Basic Technical Specification/Documents for Proposal. Design for optimum cost. Coordination with Projects and Marketing departments.
- Follow-up with Project Manager for Review/Approval of Process Engineering related documents & drawings by client.

REQUIREMENTS

- BS in Engineering
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in an EPC and/or Refinery, Chemical Process and/or Chemical Manufacturing Facility
- Process Engineering experience on Refinery, Chemical Process and/or Chemical Manufacturing projects
