Senior Process Development Associate Job

SENIOR PROCESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in West Greenwich, RI.

The Big Picture:

- The candidate will be working with a group lead to support development and characterization of harvest and purification processes for monoclonal antibody production.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Responsibilities will include: Performing lab operations related to centrifugation, normal flow filtration (NFF), chromatography, and tangential flow filtration (TFF).
- Documentation of all data in an electronic laboratory notebook.
- Collaboration with the quality engineering group to statistically analyze data

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- BS in Biology, chemistry, biochemical engineering or chemical engineering or in a relevant field from an accredited institution with three to five (3-5) years of experience or
- MS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or in a relevant field from an accredited institution with zero to three (0-3) years of experience
- Working knowledge of centrifugation, chromatography, NFF, and TFF operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience in a small-scale development laboratory in a cGMP biopharmaceutical environment.
- Advanced degree in Biochemical or Chemical Engineering or in a relevant technological field and/or additional years of experience in biopharmaceutical process development or commercial scale mammalian cell culture systems and harvest process technical support.
- Experience operating GE Akta chromatography and filtration units.
- Ability to compile and analyze statistical data, draw conclusions and make presentations to cross-functional audience.
