Senior Problem Manager; Broadcast Security & Data Services (m/w)

For our client, a multinational digital broadcasting company in Munich, we are currently looking for a Senior Problem Manager, for a permanent employement .

Starting ASAP

Tasks

* Creating a framework for following up problems and incident root cause solutions for the Head-End system chains used for delivering broadcast- and broadband products to customers

* Creating and maintaining documentations, plans, procedures and processes required for problem management.

* Playing an active role in these processes being not only "a process guard", but being an "active investigator" and "validator" for problem root causes and successful validations, jointly with in-team technical experts as well as other problem managing teams

* Being part of the Service Delivery functions with focus on encryption, authentication and authorization services, VoD- and metadata systems as well as actively supporting relevant projects

Skills

* Bachelor/Master Degree in computer science or similar educational background with focus in some of the areas system development, application development, system operation, system resp. environment management with respect to problem management

* At least 5 years of professional experience in the mentioned areas of IT-based systems covering the bridge between the technical and the process views. Experience in broadcast and/or OTT systems would be ideal

* Very good analytical skills and high capabilities to define technical processes & documents, managing implementation in daily live. Communication and training capabilities in these areas are "key".

* Knowledge and practical experience in the area problem management with a strong technical focus

* Good English required, German would be a nice to have
