Located within theZurich area I am searching for a

(Senior) Pricing Actuary

My client, a well established insurance company, is looking for an ambitious Pricing Actuary located inZurich. To support the team proven experience within the non-life market, preferable in an finance industry or (re)insurance company is essential, as are excellent IT skills (especially Excel, stochastic methodologies, programming languages, ResQ, VB, SQL).

You will assist the actuarial management on a local and international level and participate in global team projects (capital/ reserving models, credit modeling and pricing). You provide actuarial reviews, modelling and pricing tools and perform market studies. Furthermore you will take part in underwriting processes while developing analysis and concepts, preparing reports and calculations.

The position covers all major classes of business and will involve regular meetings with the claims, underwriter, pricing and controlling team as well as external clients, giving you excellent exposure to the wider business.

You are qualified actuary and/ or have a university degree in Actuarial Science, Physics, Mathematics or a natural science background. Ideally your experience level within the Pricing area covers 3 to 7 years and your communication and analytical skills are over average. Knowledge of English is essential, every other language a plus.

Very good knowledge in finance topics as such as Swiss GAAP, strong solution and decision making skills complete your profile.
