Senior PMO Program Scheduler (1-2 Positions)

Our client, a large service provider is seeking two Program/Master Schedulers who will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting milestones, dependencies and deliverables within and across projects and work streams for a large Federal Government Department.

ABOUT THE JOB:

- Liaise with project managers, team leads and other appropriate stakeholders to plan and develop project/program schedules
- Plan and manage milestones and interdependencies between project/program schedules
- Collect and collate schedule progress and achievements
- Analyse schedule performance and conduct "what-if" scenarios
- Development and maintenance of periodic schedule performance reports
- Identification of potential issues/risks, clashes, opportunities in the program/project schedules to ensure forward planning and/or corrective action can be done
- Development and maintenance of templates/documentation standards related to project governance
- Contribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of project management processes and systems on a regular basis.

ABOUT YOU:

- You will have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Project, ideally version 2010. MS Project Enterprise 2010 would be an advantage.
- You will have demonstrated experience in the MS Office Suite, including Excel and Visio
- You will be able to work under pressure, and take ownership of schedules, including hitting major milestones and managing interdependencies between schedules.
- You will be an effective team player, with displayed experience in complex project/program environments and the ability to work to deliverables and deadlines.
- Department of Defence experience highly desirable
