Senior PMO - Asset Management - Financial Management

We are currently recruiting for a Senior PMO position to work for a prestigious Asset Management company based in London. For this role it is essential to have Banking/Financial Services experience and have advanced PMO skills and experience including Financial Management, Dependency Management, Planning and Governance. Proven experience working in a large structured environment, supporting a portfolio of projects and the ability to engage with and challenge senior level managers is required for this position.

Duties:
*Management of the production of weekly and monthly project reports, project report co-ordination
*Maintain recording, monitoring, forecasting and budgeting of project expenditure
*Track the project portfolio
*Assurance role ensuring effective governance is adhered to, challenging project managers where required to achieve compliance
*Engaging with senior level Programme & Project Managers
*Defining and implementing best practice across planning, reporting, forecasting, change control

Required for this role
*PMO experience gained in a structure financial services environment
*Advanced knowledge of MS Projects (including project baselines, cost forecasting, resource leveling)
*Experience of the full project life cycle & all aspects of project reporting
*Financial Management and Governance is essential
*Good stakeholder engagement and management skills
*Ability to work closely with senior managers and challenge them when required.
