Senior PM - London - Software Provider - £60-70k

My client a rapidly growing Service Provider in the software industry are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their global business. The core purpose of this position is to plan and direct the activities of crossfunctional teams assigned to a large IT project to meet business requirements.

The essential experience required for this role is:

Extensive experience of software product development
Experience of IT Project Management

Role Duties
Responsible for the development and implementation of assigned projects and serves as a single point of contact.

Take projects from original concept through implementation.

Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including clients, computer services, and client services.

Defines project scope and objectives.

Initiates, plans, executes, and closes software and product development activity.

Provides direction and mentoring to more junior level project managers.

Participates in setting and enforces project direction with cross-functional teams.

Plans and manages resource allocations and task assignments within a matrix managed environment.
