Senior Planning Engineer - FIFO Perth

This fast moving narrow vein gold operation in WA require a Senior Planning Engineer to join the tech services team on site. We are seeking someone who can hit the ground running as this mine site does work at a very fast pace.

Working on a FIFO 8/6 roster you will Report to the Mine Manager and will be responsible for producing designs and schedules for planning and production systems for the operation.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

- Produce schedules using EPS
- Organise and chair meetings for the Short-Term planning and grade control functions
- Produce an 18 month rolling updates to the Medium and Long-Term Systems Manager
- Assist in producing annual updates
- Lead a small team of engineers on site
- Develop safe work procedures, in line with Long-Term and Medium-Term design and scheduling system policies

The ideal candidate will possess:

- 5+ years experience in an underground role
- EPS Scheduling software
- Previous experience in mine planning
- Experience of drill and blast methods and practices
- Vulcan experience highly advantageous
