SENIOR PLANNING AND INVESTMENT ACCOUNTANT

£22-32 PER HOUR

BELLSHILL

My Client is a leading energy and utility company and is looking to secure the services of an interim Accounting Professional for within their Corporate Services division.

THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE ARE AS FOLLOWS - - Analysis of regulatory performance against pricing controls
- Business planning and reporting
- Preparing financial analyses and investment reports in PowerPoint
- Reviewing and challenging Investment cases from other business units against internal standards
- Financial modelling
- Investment Analysis

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL DISPLAY THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES - - CCAB/CIMA Qualified Accountant
- Essential that have strong practical experience of financial modelling
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to analyse data and be comfortable in constructively challenging data at all levels
- High level of commercial and financial awareness
- Must be able to fit within a small team
- Knowledge of SAP or Utilities sector would be advantageous

THIS IS AN INTERIM OPPORTUNITY, THE ROLE IS BASED IN BELLSHILL AND EXPECTED INITIAL DURATION OF THE CONTRACT WILL BE UNTIL THE END OF DECEMBER\'13.
