Senior Planner/Scheduler

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Effectively schedules and maintains a large inventory of projects using Primavera P6 Version 8 scheduling software.
- Plans, creates and maintains schedules for all aspects of projects.
- Develops schedules to track and monitor the progress of Electrical Distribution work.
- Effectively participates in Scheduling planning meetings and communicates schedule issues to project team members.

SKILLS
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience acceptable. Must have at least 7-10 years of experience. The candidate for this position will need to have strong background in planning and scheduling techniques. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Primavera P6 Version 8 software scheduling tools. Must also have expertise in Primavera Enterprise - P3e (10-15 years and currently using). The candidate will be required to have strong resource management skills. Strong knowledge in the use of MS Office required. Certification from the Project Management Institute or a similar program is desired. Experience working at a utility company is needed to understand project terms and project flow. Experience using another scheduling software is a plus, but not required. Must be able to use email, MS Word and Excel.
