SENIOR PLANNER, PLANNING OFFICER, RTPI, PLANNING POLICY, RETAIL EXPERIENCE, LONDON, CONTRACT

Senior policy planner/Planning Officer required for my London based Public Sector client for an initial 4 month contract.

You will preferably have experience in Retail, Business and town centre policy. Qualified with a RTPI is highly desirable for this post. This contract is for an initial 4 months, with a high possibility of extension.

The successful candidate would contribute to the preparation of the draft local plan, with a focus on business, retail and town centre policy. They would also assist in the preparation of the local plan evidence base, as well as a planning brief for a significant development opportunity site.

Duties on a day to day basis will include;
Policy drafting local plans, evidence based studies, policy preparation and town centre health checks.
