Senior PL/SQL JAVA Developer

For our customer we are looking for a Senior JAVA Developer with PL/SQL.

Scope of the task is to enhance and restructure the very large in-house-build MARS system. Current implementation is done on oralce 11G mainly in SQL and PL/SQL language - but JAVA language will be the preferred coding language going forward. This is a long term assignment and for the right person.

The consultant MUST:
Be an experienced developer particularly in Java (or similar Object Oriented language). Ability to plan and drive (especially own work). Good communication skills. Ask if things are unclear. Good knowledge of datamodels and design of those.

Interest in understanding the domain area:
Market Risk. The consultant MAY: Ability to code in PLSQL. Capability of participating in all phases of a project from analysis and design to development and test. Ability to transform business requirements into IT requirements and propose a design. Have knowledge about the capital markets area and financial products.
