Senior Piping Checker

My Oil and Gas client currently require a Senior Piping Checker on a 15 month contract.

Job Description

Detailed Work tasks:

- Perform PDMS pipe checking including 2D Draft work
- Must be able to understand P & IDs and drawings from different disciplines.
- Perform work tasks according to Aibel and the clients governing documentation.
- Produce discipline drawings and documents
- Inter-act with different discipline
- Participate in the internal design review
- Perform discipline and inter discipline checks of drawing and documents
- Assist/Input to work packages
- Follow up Pipe design Prefab and Offshore Installation work
- Perform offshore survey as required
- Contribute to the training of junior personnel Mandatory Work Experience required:
- 5-10 years of experience, preferably within offshore modification work in Norway
- Pipe Design Experience in Pre-Engineering, Detail Engineering, Prefab and Installation, Follow-on and As-Built phase.
- PDMS Design and Draft
- Familiar with 2D Microstation
- Knowledge of Ptil requirements and Norsok standards
- ASME B31.3 knowledge

Mandatory Qualifications required:

- High degree of self learning skills is desirable
- Good communication
