Senior Pipeline Engineer

- He/she shall be directly responsible to the Project Manager on all pipeline engineering, planning, material and all other technical services essential to support the construction activities.
- He/she is to ensure that the details included in the engineering procedures are fully understood by the Construction personnel and that all the project preparation is in order.
- He/she is to work in close liaison with COMPANY's engineers to advise on the technical aspects related to the project.
- He/she is to liaise with COMPANY engineers for all design, planning and materials problems that may arise and to propose solution.
- He/she shall continually review project planning during implementation. He/she shall at all times know the current progress of the project with respect to planning. He/she should be able to give details of why a project is ahead/behind schedule at all times.
- He/she shall monitor the project offshore for its implementation and during that period he/she shall liaise with the Field Engineer. He/she shall give technical back up to the Field Engineer and advice in steering the project execution. He/she shall also assist the Field Engineer to ensure materials availability offshore prior to start of construction activities. For extra work found offshore during execution he/she shall recommend proposals material requirement and input to planning.
- He/she shall compile as-built reports on the project (progress versus plan, problem areas, lessons learned, distinct performance etc.) to ensure information is compiled for the completion reports and the projects database. He/she shall also assist the Planner Engineer to produce an as-built project network.
