Senior Petroleum Geologist: I am currently working on behalf of one of the largest Service Companies in the world, who are in the market for a Senior Petroleum Geologist to join their Proprietary Geophysics team inNorth Wales. The client is a leader in the market, and offer outstanding benefits and a fantastic work environment. The right candidate will also gain great exposure to a wide variety of Geological projects.

The role involves:

+ understanding of lead and prospect evaluation

+ prospect analysis and integration of interpretations with petroleum systems

+ generation, QC, technical editing of technical geological reports from a regional to asset scale

+ production of geological maps and familiarity with play fairway analysis

+ working on a variety of projects using a number of different software packages (including Crystal Ball)

To be considered for this challenging and varied role, you must have the following skills/qualifications:

+ extensive experience (10-15 years) in Exploration Geology

+ experience with fairway mapping, prospect analysis, and well correlation

+ ability and desire to mentor more junior staff

+ track record of identifying and defining hydrocarbon prospects

+ an educational Geology background would be ideal
