Senior Performance Analyst

THE ROLE:

Our client is a large federal government agency undergoing a period of change and restructure. As part of this process they have a requirement for several Senior Performance Analysts to undertake various system and software testing roles.

This role is for an immediate start following successful security checks, and will see you through to the end of financial year, with an additional 12 month extension on offer.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Drafting project change risk assessments based on current and future systems;
- Creation of detailed test plans including application simulation models and test run schedules;
- Preparation, development and execution of test scripts and scenarios via HP Performance Centre;
- Reviewing, assessing, communicating risks; and
- Test reporting and analysis of application performance.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Strong experience in a performance testing role
- Familiarity with the HP products including ALM/HP Performance Centre and HP SiteScope/
- Demonstrated Script Development experience using Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services, Siebel, Citrix, or Windows Sockets

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

- Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- The ability to rapidly come up to speed in a new technical environment
- Able to adapt to changing business requirements as a result of ongoing organisational change

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Australian citizenship
- A Baseline security clearance, or the ability to obtain one

Our client has a need for several performance analysts, and has a preference for an immediate start following successful security checks. These are highly specialised roles for experienced performance testers and unfortunately they will be unable to consider candidates without specific experience in this area.
