Senior Payroll Officer

Experis Finance are recruiting Payroll Officers for one of their Public Sector clients. Our client is currently implementing the Midland TRENT HR and Payroll System and transferring multiple weekly and monthly payrolls from their existing Oracle system.

Main Duties:

. Assist the payroll manger in the implementation of remaining payrolls onto Midland Trent and the successful transfer from Oracle.

. Assisting existing staff with accurately inputting payroll data into the Midland Trent Payroll system.

. Running a payroll, clearing all errors and warnings

. balancing ledgers

. Sending BACS and FPS files.

. Supervising and checking the calculation of emergency payments.

. Input into Trent the recovery of these payments.

. Experience of Trent in the public sector is essential and ideally some Oracle experience as well.

Experience:

. Experience of running multiple Payrolls

. Experience of Midland Trent within a public sector environment (Essential)

. Experience of Oracle Payroll system

. Excellent Attention to detail

. Excellent communication skills

. Ability to adapt to multiple, changing priorities

3 to 6 month contract
