For our client in BASEL we are looking for a SENIOR ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE MANAGER for a 12-MONTH contract.

DURATION: 01/09/2018 TILL 30/08/2019

LOCATION: BASEL

WORKLOAD: 100%

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our company runs a program to harmonize LIMS systems globally. This translates into an impact on commercial and development organizations globally with an estimated 5'000 people impacted by the change. Furthermore, the initiative has dependencies to other global programs. Delivering an enabling global organizational change management program is a key success factor.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Globally lead strategic and tactical change management, training management, employee engagement, communications and user adoption activities for the project
- Provide strategic vision for change management and user adoption of the new LIMS system, while leading an internal team of staff to execute against the vision
- Manage overall OCM work plan and conduct weekly status reporting meetings
- Work closely and report to the program manager, and collaborate with the PMO to setup the change work stream
- Perform stakeholder analysis and develop the stakeholder management plan
- Identify change management and user adoption related business issues/risks and recommend options and plans to remediate
- Oversee implementation and adoption of OCM guidelines and standards across multiple work streams within the project
- Create/manage project level surveys/metrics/KPIs to roll-up and report on change management and user adoption related activities and success
- Ensure OCM activities are aligned with the project timeline and key milestones, and are integrated with other workstreams as required
- Manage and facilitate OCM workshops to ensure a strong understanding of change management principles and user adoption techniques to be deployed during the project
- Build out and manage a global change agent/champion network that will support the introduction of the new LIMS system to the end-user community of approx. 5'000 employees across the organization
- Prepare communication materials across various channels
- Develop and manage online and social media channels, including content creation and coordination with channel owners

MUST HAVES:
- Significant track record in setting up and managing OCM programs in a global environment (+8 years of experience)
- Have experience in managing complex stakeholder environments and organizational complexity (+8 years of experience)
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact across multiple levels of the organization
- Demonstrated capabilities in teamwork and leadership on large global change efforts;
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life cycle
- Experience in workshop facilitation
- Certification in change methodologies (Prosci preferred)
- Ability to work across multiple international time zones (late afternoon/early evening work required in the EU)
- Ability to travel internationally both within and outside of the EU when required;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent German and English language skills (both mandatory)

NICE TO HAVES:
+++ University degree in Communication Management preferred;
+++ Project management experience;
+++ Experience in a GxP laboratory, manufacturing and technical development environment
