SENIOR ORACLE EXPERT, INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within IT, we are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle expert, Infrastructure engineer for this Contract position based in Zurich, Switzerland. YOUR MAIN TASKS IN THIS POSITION ARE;

Experienced Oracle engineer who covers topics like DR, infrastructure, storage, backup, cloning and migration. The Engineer must be able to work out the detailed DR solution including the blueprint based on a given high level DR solution.

- Write DR solution design including blueprint
- execute DR Pilot and document testing results,
- Write overall DR process description

Project runs until Mid July

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION ARE;

- Oracle expert (5 years Experince)
- VLDB experience
- Oracle 11gR2 base build/Linux (RH6)
- Dataguard, ASM, RAC experience
- Good technical writer/documentation skills.
- Oracle Systems certification expected
- Language English, German is an advantage
