Finance IT department of New York City based bank need to hire a guru Oracle developer to help deliver on the P&L reporting function to the Finance business team. A large part of this role involves interrogation and investigation of data in the database with a proven ability to dissect the data and spot issues and create solutions around them as needed. Also, an interim Access reporting solution based on VBA code has been put together, this model needs to be transferred into SQL. In addition to solid Oracle and ETL design and development skills you should be able to quickly build prototype or ad-hoc solutions and reports using excel and/or SQL. Ideally you will be familiar with Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as Business Objects and Crystal Reports.
