WHERE DOES THIS ROLE FIT IN TO VERSION 1?

TELL ME ABOUT THE ROLE - WHAT WILL I BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS?

Version 1 has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Migration Lead within Version 1's growing Oracle eBusiness practice.

The role will require you to develop the data migration plan - predominantly around an Oracle R11 to R12 migration strategy for Financial modules ( GL,AP,AR,FA,CM ) but additional data sources may be in scope.

The role is a mix of hands on technical skills as well as experience coordinating and leading developers.

- Includes delivery of the entire data migration process - from analysis of existing data, cleansing, validation, translation tables, conversions and subsequent upload into the new platform.
- Includes testing of the Data migration solution in dedicated data conversion environments prior to providing data into SIT and subsequent project phases to go-live.
- Design of a performant data migration solution that fits within the Production Cutover plan.
- Overall responsibility for analysis, identification and resolution of data exchange issues.
- Advises customer on data accuracy

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS JOB?

The ideal candidate will have a strong E-business Technical background, coupled with expertise in eBusiness Data Migration

Oracle eBusiness R11.0.3 to R12 migration exposure is an advantage, R11i to R12 is also acceptable.

Minimum of 10+ years eBusiness experience plus Data Migration experience

- eBusiness Financials knowledge
- Strong Planning and Management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong technical skills are an advantage
