Senior Oracle Developer - PL/SQL & Unix Script - English Speaking cont

For a global bank based here in Zürich we are looking for an Oracle Developer to join the team

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Participate in a large team of DWH developers
- Database Modeling (OLAP + relational)
- Rapidly design, prototype and iterate on creative concepts to meet the user requirements

SKILL SET QUALIFICATIONS:

- Very good PL/SQL and SQL knowledge
- Oracle DB - Modeling (OLAP + relational)
- ETL - Unix (Shell Scripting) & scheduling (nice to have CTRL-M)
- Familiar with OS X, Linux, Shell Scripts
- Working knowledge of architectural frameworks and practices
- Substantial exposure to enterprise infrastructure, data processing, enterprise software applications
- Experience of being involved in delivering large scale distribute systems

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE/GOOD TO HAVE:

- Working experience in Onshore/Offshore model
- Agile Certified and working experience in Agile Projects

IN SUMMARY:

- Do not have to know Control M - easy to learn scheduling tool
- SQL - must be able to re tune database and make better queried
- fact dimension - must know on the DWH side. The data marts are there already
- will be in two projects: one is more from end SQL and the other one is more Back End using stored procedures
- they could hire someone for 5 years. 2 year role is now no longer valid. Will do a contract every 12 months
- working in Finance and Risk department
