Senior Oracle Developer (80% - 100%)
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within a financial institution, we are looking for an Oracle Developer. For this contract based in Zurich our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
WE OFFER:
- Challenging role as Senior Database Lead Engineer for developing and supporting Various Applications.
- Responsibilities would involve Application development and support
- Analysis, validation and implementation of customer requirements in coordination with the team
- Designing, Datamodelling, implementing and maintaining databases (Oracle and MS Access)
- Writing specifications, do the engineering, design and implementation of new requirements
- Creating and optimizing advanced database queries to retrieve and manipulate information for reporting purposes
- Creating and updating technical and business documentation
The technical skills needed for this position are:
- Strong experience in Datamodelling and strong PL/SQL programming
- A Strong working experience with Java/JEE, Design-Patterns, XML/XML Schema, JSF, C/C++ and Shell (Unix)
- Good knowledge with database (Oracle, Hibernate,SQL,MS Access )
- Experience in the platforms Windows, Solaris and Linux.
- Some Support work
THE SOFT SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
- Good team player who is willing to learn and grow with the team
- Dynamic, pro-active and self-motivated mentality with ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills, very good language skills in English, German as an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, Candidate must be diligent and proactive, Good interpersonal skills.
