SENIOR ORACLE DBA CONTRACT DUBLIN

Joining this Dublin city centre based software company with an enterprise scale Oracle based product suite. The role is focused on enhancing the performance of the Oracle Database, performance tuning in an environment which contains complex SQL statements that are being improved and joins. There is an initial performance challenge to be dealt with which will then open up to a longer term opportunity.

Working on live production systems with tables containing tens of millions of rows you will be part of a Java and Oracle development and implementation team. A deep Oracle database background which includes Oracle 10g and 11g, installing and upgrading databases, performance tuning, supporting development and design/maintain new data models.

ROLE/OPPORTUNITY:

- Oracle Database Administration
- Supporting Oracle 10g and 11g Databases
- Performance analysis and tuning
- Working with large scale production Oracle databases
- PL/SQL development
- Troubleshoot and resolve database problems efficiently
- Dublin city centre location

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- 7+ years commercial Oracle DBA experience
- Experience with Oracle 10g (and ideally 11g)
- Strong experience of database performance tuning and analysis
- PLSQL development
- Experience of building and maintaining of large scale databases

RATE:

- Euro 400 - 450 per day DOE
- Dublin City Centre location
- Daily rate contract
