For our customer in Zurich we are looking for an

Senior Oracle DBA

Your responsibilities:

- As part of the global DBA organization the several database teams provide 2nrd and 3rd Level Support for Trading and Sales, Corporate, Retail and Private Banking Applications. Within the operational Database Support Sector we are currently seeking a Senior Oracle Lead DBA to join our team.
- Your main tasks will be the technical lead of the Database administrators and projects in complex database environments. In addition you will be accountable to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of products and processes in a topology of multiple thousand databases. The working spectrum spreads across DB administration, DB design, DB and application tuning, incidental troubleshooting, automation, Scripting, DB Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, DBA coaching and Continuous Improvement for DB products to enable and enhance the 2nd and 3rd Level Support
- We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in Oracle Database Administration on Unix and Linux platforms (min. 10 years) and at least 5 years production support experience. Ideally we are looking for a certified Oracle Master with very senior operational experience working with Oracle RAC and Dataguard on 10g/11g and utilities such as RMAN and Grid Control. You will speak fluent English, German is desirable. If you are a team player with a lot of drive, are able to work on multiple tasks and under a lot of pressure - you will be the ideal candidate for our team!
