We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Oracle DBA professional who has experience of working within the a LE/financial services/Banking arena for an initial 9 month contract based on-site with one of Dell's key customers in London.

The successful applicant will have experience in deployment, configuration, maintenance, Storage and migration of Oracle based systems/running in SAN environments

- 9i, 10g and 11g Database
- Oracle RMAN
- Oracle ASM
- Oracle DataGuard physical standby including DGB
- BMC SQLbacktrack
- Working Knowledge of Solaris and RefHat Linux
- Perl Programing experience essential

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong troubleshooting skills with an attention to detail and an ability to follow process.

You will also have the ability to work and remain calm in a high pressure environment, with good team working skills but equally has to be capable of working alone.
