For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for An Ops engineer who will work at a high, professional level, on the basis of the Scrum/Agile method and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices, with expertise and understanding of how the bank works and end user needs. We are looking for a senior Ops engineer with thorough knowledge of Linux, Oracle and WebSphere.

Job description Senior Ops Engineer (Linux/Oracle) (QR3439)
Main activity is configuring the stack for payment processing within the new data centre. Significant part of this activity will be monitoring and tuning of this stack to meet our requirement regarding load and performance. You will also act as a coach for junior engineers.

As an Ops engineer you will be placed in a DevOps team, as one of the five DevOps team working in this domain. The Ops engineers align their activities in a guild, in which you also will take part.

Your profile Senior Ops Engineer (Linux/Oracle) (QR3439)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an engineer, of which 2 years as a senior engineer
• Team player, who likes to work closely together with other engineers
• You like to work in a very dynamic environment

• Red Hat administrator
• Oracle DBA experience
• Advanced English capabilities.
