Senior Operations Manager - Leeds

They are now seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join their site in Leeds. As a senior member of their Power Management team, you will report to the Divisional Director and have responsibility and accountability for the overall performance and development of their new EHV Wood pole business delivering first class solutions typically to the Distribution Network Operators and new Clients.

The role responsibilities:
* As part of the Management team you will assist in the development of company Policy and Strategy to meet the needs of its stakeholders. You will ensure that Objectives, Targets and Processes are developed and followed at all levels of your business units to ensure the overall company objectives are achieved.

* Develop a 3-year Business Plan for individual business units, updating as appropriate

* Help produce and agree detailed P&L budget annually and manage the business to meet or exceed this. Undertake planning and progress monitoring activities including Earned Value Reports.

* Develop growth and positioning strategy for the Woodpole Markets

* Ensure staffing levels are met, including future needs and contingency and are trained and developed to be competent for the risks they carry out.

The ideal candidate will be able to boast the following:

* Degree Qualified in an Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Discipline and will need to be augmented by significant experience
* Experience of leading a business with a turnover of between £3m and £15m
* IOSH Managing Safely and a thorough understanding and working knowledge of site rules and Safety Standing orders.

The package on offer is up to £70,000 plus package. It is a Permanent role based in Leeds.
