My high profile Financial services client is looking for a Senior Operations Manager with extensive Collections experience to lead an operations team, across one or more sites, to deliver high value, high volume business critical processes and maximise customer satisfaction and overall operational performance.
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Operational Risk Framework and internal Policies and Standards.

The role holder will be required to represent the team and/or department in meetings, site visits and internal and external community events.
* The role holder will be involved in strategic change management, supporting the change team to implement into business as usual. They will also be expected to benefit track change processes.
* The role involves managing both customer and colleague cost headlines.
* The role holder will have the opportunity to develop and manage projects outside of their business remit.
* The role holder will be accountable for the management of key stakeholders and 3rd party supplier performance

Typically you will have the below experience

Experience
Proven experience in a range of operational and customer service leadership roles.
Worked in an environment that has enabled them to gain a broad understanding of the Financial Services market and a significant depth of knowledge of the products, services and customers of the business areas being supported.
Achieved high levels of operational performance and customer satisfaction in a dynamic and changing business environment.
Successfully implemented and Embedded change, realising the agreed business benefits whilst maintaining operational performance.
Best practice management, risk, control, business continuity and information systems and how to exploit them.
Full working knowledge of FCA compliance requirements.
In depth knowledge of the Retail Operations strategies, plans and practices.
Detailed understanding of the business strategies and plans of the businesses that they support, and the end to end customer and business processes that their team operates and/or supports.
In depth knowledge of the Group HR policies and practices and a good working knowledge of employment and health & safety regulations.
Demonstrate the interpersonal skills needed to deal effectively with their customers and colleagues.
Commercial and business management.
Communicate effectively, in oral, presentational and written form, to a range of audiences at all levels of the organisation and externally.
Customer and service management.
Leading and motivating people.
Assessing training and development needs, and coaching and developing people.
Managing performance and risk.
Managing change.
