SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER - MARINE, TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS, MANUFACTURING PROCESSES.

A Senior Operations Manager with Marine, Transformation Projects and Manufacturing Processing experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Cumbria.

This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence business.

OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER CONTRACT ROLE.

Role requires a Senior Operations Manager to Lead on the delivery of key operations transformation projects and influence the Operations senior management team to drive transformation across the operations function. Candidate will embed manufacturing engineering processes and ethos across the submarines business.

Key skills required for the Senior Operations Manager
* Requires a proven track record in delivery of significant transformation projects
* The ability to lead on operational projects and functions.
* Experience working on large scale defence or marine projects.
* Dealings with stakeholders.

The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District.
