ROLE:SENIOR OPERATIONS ENGINEER

LOCATION: BIRCHAM NEWTON, NORFOLK

DURATION: 3+ Months Initially with possible extension

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Ability to manage own workload and escalate concerns issues to managers.
- Ability to work in a busy support environment with high customer service expectations and SLA targets
- Server 2003/2008R2 administration and problem resolution up to and inc 3rd line
- Windows 7 installation, configuration support, inc office products.
- SQL 2003 knowledge/administration
- Vmware (ESX4 and above administration and configuration)
- Administration or support of the following
- XEN 4.5 - 6 (Citrix)
- Symantec backup exec 2010
- SAP
- CRM
- Infrastructure installation (PC's/Laptops/Servers/HP and extreme Switches)
- MS CRM/biztalk/sharepoint understanding (administrating would be of benefit)
- Exposure of HP and Hitachi Servers would be of benefit
- Exposure of Lenovo and HP laptops/PC's would be of benefit
- Exposure of HP and Extreme Switches would be of benefit
- Exposure or understanding of a SAN would be of benefit
