Senior Operations Consultant (NATO)

Experience and Education:
-The Candidate must be the holder of a university degree in electronics, communications engineering, software engineering, computer science or other relevant area, or have an equivalent education from a recognized military academy or institute
-Proven background in software engineering, preferable in commercial software development or large scale C2 systems;
-Experience in the development of complex software-intensive command-and-control systems and/or decision aids. This will include activities related to the management, the analysis, the design, the implementation, and the test of such projects;
-In depth knowledge and practical experience in air C2 automated mission planning systems, preferably ACCS-based;
-Deep understanding of military messaging interfaces and infrastructure, particularly X.400 and ADatP3;
-Proven understanding of engineering practices related to interoperability testing and interoperability engineering;
-Understanding of procurement, system integration and deployment management concepts;

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
