Senior Operational Sharepoint System Engineer

THE CONTRACT IS WITH A CONSULTANCY IN BRUSSELS TO BE ON ASSIGNMENT TO A LARGE BANKING CLIENT AS FOLLOWS:- The candidate will contribute to availability, the maintenance, the support of a large SharePoint infrastructure hosting site.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The client has invested a lot in the development of a performing SharePoint infrastructure. You will be part of a team of SharePoint specialists that guarantees the availability, the reliability and the stability of an innovating SharePoint environment. The Operational SharePoint System Engineer will report to the Team leader.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Operational SharePoint Senior System Engineer, you carry out the following tasks:

Support of the complete "Operational/Run"  SharePoint infrastructure

Responsible for SharePoint deployments

Perform follow-up of content deployments.

Perform pre-defined tasks (Stop/Start, installation)

Handle Service Requests, Incidents, Problems, Changes and Configuration Management at operation level

YOUR PROFILE

Knowledge and experience

- Owner of a Master or Bachelor degree in computer science or Engineering degree, 5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in the SharePoint domain.
- Very good knowledge of SharePoint 2010, Windows 2008, SQL Server and  IIS. General knowledge of  .NET and CSS is valued.
- French or Dutch with fluent knowledge of English.
- Basic governance knowledge (CMMI, Prince 2, ITIL).
