Senior Operational Risk Manager

A global utility company is looking to hire an interim Senior Operational Risk Manager for an initial 6 month period. The Operational Risk Management team embeds and maintains the organisation's operational risk policy and framework for identifying, assessing, managing and reporting operational risk exposures for the UK and the Americas.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the Operational Risk Framework is fully Embedded across the Global offices.
- Develop and enhance the KRIs across the organisation.
- Build and maintain good relationships with the Global Operational Risk and Senior Management team.
- Prepare monthly Operational Risk packs for presentation in Risk Committees/Meetings.
- Perform risk assessments and prepare reports for Management.
- Co-ordinate and manage various regulatory requirements and Operations Risk

Candidate Requirements

- 3 years+ within the commodities market
- Detailed understanding of the products and risks arising from the businesses, how and where P&L is generated, and the details/implications of how their markets are evolving.
- Knowledge of risk management methodologies

An attractive and competitive day rate will be made to the preferred candidate. Due to the extensive workload there is strong potential for an extension to the project.
