I'm currently working on behalf of an International Retail Organization which operates 373 stores in 47 countries. They are continuously looking to expand their teams with top class professionals. They are now looking for an Operational Purchaser to join their teams on a very long term contract role with option to extend.

The scope of the consultant services:
*As an Operational Purchaser you will work globally to support other operational purchasing of consultants.
*You will be responsible for collecting, assuring the quality of and recommending suitable consultant candidates based on stated needs. The offers should be presented and followed up according to set rules.
*Knowledge of important contractual terms, prices, processes, tools and templates you will also be a sounding board and guide to the requestor in the procurement process.
The main tasks in the assignment will be/a day at work will look like:
*Contact with the consultancy firms that the client is working with, discussing new and ongoing assignments but also from time to time negotiating assignments in order to secure the best buy for IKEA.
*Maintaining the relationship with the client's suppliers as well as with our stakeholders needs to be followed up on a regular basis according to set governance models.
*Build trustful relations with stakeholders and users to achieve the best solutions. Together with the stakeholders you will ensure compliance to agreements.
*Secure the clients Code of Conduct, sustainability and business ethics standards.
The consultant shall have the following profile:
*Have 3-5 years of professional experience purchasing or sales preferably within the consultancy sector.
*Have high administrative skills and loves to keep track of things.
*Have good knowledge in Excel and well oriented in other MS Office tools, since most work is performed in the eProcurement tool and in Excel.
*As a person you have a business mind-set with a strong drive and an openness to change.
