Senior Open Pit Mine Geologist FIFO - Perth

This international mining house are seeking an experienced senior mine geologist to work closely with the geology manager in running the function and managing the staff in their large WA operation.

Reporting to the Mine Geology manager and working on an 8/6 family friendly roster, your main duties are to provide leadership and mentoring to the Grade Control team, as well as planning, scheduling and supervision of all grade control functions.

You will also have the following:

Experience in Open Pit Mine Geology in Iron Ore
Experience in mentoring and leading others.
Exploration or Development experience

Qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications in Geology
Previous leadership qualifications.
Manual C class drivers licence.
