Senior Opeartional RISK Manager- Private Banking - Geneva

Our CLIENT Our client is a famous and traditional private bank having a stable and successful history and a promising future. In order to reinforce their Risk expertise, they are looking for a Senior Operational Risk Manager, who will be based in Geneva. In direct report to the CRO, you will be highly involved within the business which requests a large understanding of the products and financial markets. The ROLE Your main duties will be: - Advising the business on Operational Risk Management and influence their behaviour towards risk - Leading the team which is responsible to identify, develop and monitor operational risk - Reporting to Senior Management and Stakeholders to define appropriate measures and actions to manage risk - To understand the strategy of the bank and identify new operational risks - Minimising the risk of Information security, Cross-border activities, third-party providers, etc. - To maintain and test the operational errors for the Business Continuity Plan and for projects with potentially high impact on the business The REQUESTED profile We are looking for a candidate having the following skills and expertise: - Degree in finance, economics or business - Min. 10-12 years experience in operational risk in a banking environment, ideally Private Banking - Fluent in French (native or similar) + fluent in English - Able to support project management, strong coordination and communication skills - Independent, self starter, sense of initiatives, stress resilient, able to prioritize - Business minded, front office oriented and customer/service driven - EU passport OR Swiss passport is a must The OFFER This new role will give you the chance to have a broad role within a solid organization, at a VP/senior VP level.
