Senior OD/Training Consultant

SENIOR OD/TRAINING CONSULTANT required for 12 MONTH CONTRACT with UTILITIES SECTOR CLIENT in either GLASGOW, EDINBURGH OR DUNFERMLINE

The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of development interventions for a large programme of change

- Complete a full training needs analysis for the change programme and then lead a small team to design and deliver development interventions
- Lead and manage the training and development activities in a large programme of change including developing and implementing project and resource plans. The management of this programme will involve identifying and supervising resources, including team members, required
- Working closely with specialists within the business to develop materials, scenario based workshops, E-learning modules and other interventions on a number of subjects including - developing Capable Change Leaders, risk management within an engineering setting, cost/benefit analysis, root cause analysis, developing business cases, moving from reactive to proactive thinking, evidence based decision making
- Lead the evaluation of the change work and the benefit created by the development interventions
- Manage allocated project budgets which may include managing allocated external contracts
- Link the development activities with the Institute of Asset Management Competency Framework and ensure that participants capture their learning and it is Embedded within their actual practice within the organisation

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

- Experienced of leading a small team
- Experienced in designing and delivering technical skill interventions
- Experienced in working in change programmes/projects
- Preferable to have experience of working within an engineering context
- Understanding of the Institute of Asset Management Competency Framework
