Senior Network Systems Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Network Systems Engineer to provide expert level advice and support on project-related activities as well as BAU.

The main duties of this role are (but not limited to):

- Provide technical expertise during project requirements gathering and implementation phases
- Provide support during project implementation phases and to perform a majority of the related implementation tasks
- Provide documentation and handover to BAU teams

Skills and experience needed:

- Expert level skills and experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010
- Strong and experience with VMware ESX 4.1 and above, including SRM & View
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator including Cisco Networking, Checkpoint Firewalls and other web Proxy systems
- Solid Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with SAN Administration, maintenance and configuration (NetApp and Net App)
- Ability to work ad-hoc, after hours and weekend work
