Senior Network & Security Engineer: Cisco, Juniper, Nexus, VPN, Checkpoint needed for an urgent contract opportunity in Basel, Switzerland (This project will be initially until the end of the year but you will have the opportunity at yearly extensions)

Excellent interpersonal skills, organization, project, and time management. Additional required skills are problem solving, and troubleshooting.
Must have a broad range of technical administration and design skills with the ability to manage dynamic environments and adapt quickly to technology changes.
A strong sense of commitment and highly business oriented.
Ability to effectively work within a team environment
Network Management skills must include the use and understanding of NetFlow and Protocol analyzers, monitoring and alerting tools.
Strong collaborator and willingness to share ideas, documentation and best practices.
Conceptual and analytical thinker and ability to extract, analyze and document complex business and technical requirements/strategies from customers and IT team members.
At least 7- years of experience with designing, implementing, operating and supporting using variety of Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 products
Expert level background, knowledge and skills in enterprise network design, engineering, analysis, and configurations of routing, switching (Cisco), wireless controllers (Cisco), Firewalls (Checkpoint), load balancers (F5), VPN (Cisco ASA & SSL Juniper), Proxy services, DNS, IPS DLP etc.
1Mastery of routed network IP protocols and architecture configurations (OSPF, BGP, IP Multicast, QoS, MPLS, VPN, VPLS, IPv4, IPv6, VoIP).
Network Management skills must include the use and understanding of NetFlow and Protocol analyzers (Wireshark), monitoring and alerting tools.
Familiar with WAN acceleration technology and Internet-based technologies and tools.
Desired skills in Cisco Data Center (Nexus)
TECHNICAL SHORTLIST
