Senior Network Engineer Paris

My client, a global communications market leader, is looking for a bi-lingual Senior Network Engineer to provide network implementation & operational support in a 24x7x365 networking environment.

The main purpose of the role is to be a leader of a project supporting Data/VoIP systems for an international enterprise network working in a high paced dynamic environment including contact centres, E-commerce, data centres & wide area networks.

Key Skills:

* Strong experience with network monitoring tools and proactive incident management.
* Strong documentation skills and knowledge of project life cycle.
* Fluent French and English (bi-lingual) written and spoken skills are essential
* Experience with global server load balancing, VoIP, and telephony solutions.
* Knowledge of MPLS, IP, routing protocols, Voice Over IP (VoIP), SIP/SIP-T.
* Familiar with circuits (DSx, OCx, Ethernet, SONET facilities.
* Familiar with Routers, Ethernet Switches, load balancing devices, sniffers, network tools, VoIP, TDM PBX systems.
* B.A./B.S degree in related field or equivalent experience.
* Cisco CCNP certification is essential

Candidates with experience of Cisco, Citrix, & Checkpoint, with strong leadership & communication skills will be highly desirable for this role.

This individual needs to be flexible as the contract may move to London at a later date. You will also be pro-active and driven and be very capable of explaining technical concepts to others in the team.
