Senior Network Engineer £400-450/day Immediate Start

An urgent requirement for a hands-on and client facing Senior Network Engineer to work with their top-tier banking and trading clients.

The successful candidate will have:

- Demonstrable experience of low latency networking and exchange/broker/ECN connectivity
- Very strong network skills, extensive experience of working in L3 and L2 environments
- Very strong experience of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, etc.)
- Good knowledge and demonstrable experience of working with and implementing MPLS
- Experience of working with and implementing VPLS would be desirable.
- Strong experience of designing solutions, extracting and validating requirements, creating Bill of Materials, understanding costs, creating High-Level and Low-Level Designs
- Good experience of delivering complex and strategic projects
- 3rd line problem escalation
- Maintain thorough network documentation
- Demonstrable experience of working with and implementing multicast solutions
- Experience within the financial services or with high performance networks is a prerequisite

Initially a 3 month contract with a view to extend, immediate start is available for the right candidate.
