Our client is a rapidly growing Health care provider that needs an energetic Network Engineer to join their team.  The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of Networking peripherals/topology/protocols/Security (implementation/monitoring), and network infrastructure building skills. As a member of the Technical Services Team, the job is responsible for the architecture and management of critical clinical infrastructure in a wired and wireless environment.

As a Network Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies ranging from BGP/OSPF to high performance SANs.

Responsibilities:
    Monitor, maintain, administer, and support development, test, pre-production, and production network hardware/systems.
    Network Management - plan and implement updates to network equipment.
    Perform backup of network devices configuration and troubleshoot problems.
    Monitor, maintain, support network infrastructure.
    Design and implement new infrastructure and application integration services including third party links and data exchanges.
    Security - responsible for maintaining overall security within the data center.
    Perform after hours and weekend/midnight shift activities and participate in on call duties.

Requirements:
    7+ years network administration experience
    Experience with Juniper Switches
    Experience with Wireless Networks
    Expert level understanding of TCP/IP and QOS for voice and video
    Routing protocol experience
    Experience with Internet transit and peering
    Extensive Router, switch, Firewall, and IPS experience
    IPsec and SSL VPNs
    troubleshooting utilizing complex protocol analyzers
    5+ years of experience supporting critical infrastructure in a highly available 24x7 environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
    Prior management or technical lead experience
    Juniper Certified Internetwork Expert (JCNIE)
    McAfee Firewalls
    Experience with Trapeze/Juniper wireless networks
    RTLS Experience
    DNS Experience
    BGP and OSPF
    iSCSI and Fibre Channel SAN technologies
    Experience with any of the following:
o    Fibre Channel, FCoE, 10G
o    DWDM
o    CDN providers
o    Metro Ethernet
o    Voice Over IP (VoIP)
    Experience in a large Data Center environment
