MY CLIENT IS A LEADING OIL AND GAS COMPANY WHO URGENTLY REQUIRE A SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER TO JOIN THEIR EXISTING TEAM. THEY SEEK A PRO-ACTIVE INDIVIDUAL, WITH EXPERIENCE IN A HANDS-ON NETWORK ENGINEERING ROLE.
Candidates must be fluent in English and Norwegian
The role:
- Independently suggest, review and modify network infrastructure design.
- Develop documents according to appropriate engineering standards for layout and level of detail.
- Make presentations to management.
- Experience with telecom solutions including LAN/WAN, fiber, line of sight transmission.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have experience working in the oil & gas industry, with off-shore experience.
- CCNP or CCIE level preferred but not essential.
- Experience from Detail Engineering and Modification Projects.
- 3+ years experience in oil & gas networking projects.
- Must be fluent in English and Norwegian.
- Must have experience working in accordance with the NORSOK health and safety standards or equivalent.
