Senior MS Access DBA

Our client is a large well known financial institution based in the heart of Dublin's Central Business District. They currently require the expertise of a Senior MS Access Database Administrator for their data team based in their plush Dublin offices.

This is an initial 6 month contract. Some of the key responsibilities are listed below in addition to the essential technical requirements
* Analysis and manipulation of large data sets;
* Performing data auditing and validation;
* Performing data mapping, data loading and conversion;
* Preparation of MI reports and/or automation of the production of reports utilising MS Access and MS Excel;
* Updating database with adhoc information received;
* Resolving data issues or discrepancies;
* 5+ years working with databases/systems
* 5+ years experience in banking or finance
* Advanced Microsoft Access and SQL, and some VBA.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data manipulation, pivot tables etc.);
* Advanced Microsoft Powerpoint
* MIS and metrics and efficiency analysis skills
