Senior Modelling Analyst

An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Modelling Analyst to join our client, a bank based in London.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:
Must have a clear understanding and experience in performing data analysis and be capable of working independently on data analysis tasks
Competence in the use of SAS, Excel, Outlook and Word
Ability to work with and in cross-functional and virtual teams across locations
Strong communication skills with the ability to think quickly and package ideas and results in a logical, understandable way for both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to prioritise work in order to maximise value for the business

Key responsibilities will include:
The development of mathematical models and their associated documentation
Provide business with insights and recommendations in order to improve strategy and process
Identify and use cutting edge techniques to develop best in class decision tools
Deliver high levels of accuracy and internal consistency/validation within own projects and provide support for colleagues with their projects
Ensure accurate implementation of models and support their use, interpretation and monitoring
Participation with stakeholders across the business in order to understand their issues, objectives and priorities; suggest and discuss potential solutions
Help to communicate the results of the models developed or other analytics to business owners; help to drive business actions based on the results
