Senior Mine Planning Engineer - Coal - Moranbah QLD

A medium sized Coal producer with sites in QLD, NSW and overseas are looking for an experience Mine Planning engineer to join their technical team on a Surface Coal Mine in QLD.

Due to the size of the company, you will be offered a fuller planning role encompassing short, medium and long term planning, scheduling, budgeting, projects as well as continuous improvement projects. All the engineering is handled on site, and not sent to the corporate office.

While not being one of the 4 major international coal producers, you will still have stability, growth without a lot of red tape attached.

In this role you will be working closely with the Technical Services Manager and you will be base residentially in the community close to site on a roster allowing you to come home every night.

You will be offered a generous base + super + site allowance + housing and bonuses.

To be considered for this role you will need to be Degree qualified, have experience in open pit, coal mine planning. You will also need to have good communication and technical skills.

The Base salary depends on experience, but will be in the region of $150, 000 - 170, 000 + the other benefits previously mentioned. Salaries outside that range can be considered for those with exceptional levels of experience.
