Senior Microsoft BI Consultant (SSAS, SSIS)

Sr. Microsoft BI Consultant is primarily responsible for development and/or implementation of reporting and analysis solutions. This role requires strong client facing skills, requirements gathering and analysis skills. You also need to have excellent interpersonal and team working skills, strong communication abilities at various levels.

ROLE

The duties include on a non limitative basis:

- Participates in requirements gathering from business, convert user requirement to technical specification and system design. Describe functional requirements as a conceptual input to project team.
- Develops, tests, deploys and supports new or existing applications in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
- Provides technical expertise as necessary to meet project and business requirements in support of assigned project/application areas.

PROFILE

The ideal candidate:

- A minimum of 6 plus years' experience working in a data warehouse environment.
- Demonstrates experience and knowledge of data warehouse data structure and database concepts and practices, with ability to monitor and tune performance.
- Familiar with concepts of Datamodelling in both relational and dimensional.
- Demonstrates knowledge when it comes to databases, and feels comfortable with complex SQL statements, stored procedures and functions.
- Experienced with MSBI Suit, ie SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.
- Working experience in Cognos and Teradata is a plus
- Experience in Retail or Supply Chain domain is preferred
- Graduated in Computer Sciences (university and/or graduate) or similar through experience
- Good communication skills (Dutch/English)
